Juni in Louisiana ist heiß und nochmals heißer, wir hatten die ganze Wochen so um die 38 Grad, unser Rasen ist fast vollständig abgestorben, und man bleibt tagsüber lieber im Haus. Auch gegen Abend ist es immer noch sehr warm, aber dann kann man wenigstens im Plantschbecken spielen. Und in unserem Garten muss man dann wenigstens keine Windeln tragen, die sind nämlich im Schwimmbad vorgeschrieben. Man kann spezielle Schwimmwindeln kaufen.June in Louisiana is definitely hot, this week was in the 100's and our lawn is almost completely dead. So we use the evening for some water fun in the kiddie pool, plus it's the backyard, no diapers. I know how European, but hey he can't help it, it's in his genes.
Das Bild war bevor Joseph das Wasser mit Erde und Grashalmen angereichert hatte. Wir haben wieder viel vor dieses Wochenende, am Samstag wird Joe für ein paar Stunden das Töpfern demonstrieren und auch einen Verkaufsstand haben. Aber wir können uns dann am Sonntag etwas ausruhen.
I took the picture before Joseph mixed earth and dead grass in the pool. We'll have another busy weekend, Joe will do some pottery demonstrations and has a sales booth on Saturday. And then nothing but rest on Sunday.
