Ja, er mag die Katzen - Yes, he likes the cats

Als Joseph geboren war wurde ich oft gefragt, ob sich die Katzen schon an das Baby gewöhnt haben. Am Anfang waren sie noch etwas überrascht, daß die Krippe für Joseph da ist, und nicht ein Luxuskatzenbett. Und jetzt kann Joseph ihnen schon ganz gut hinterher krabbeln, er übrigens findet die Katzen wundervoll. Deshalb versuchen sie so gut wie möglich Abstand zu halten, was nicht immer glückt. Bis jetzt hat er es noch nicht geschaft durch die Katzentüre zu klettern, einmal ist er durchgefallen, aber das zählt nicht. Also sind sie im Moment noch in Sicherheit vor ihm, wenn sie im Garten sind.

After Joseph was born one question was how the cats are doing with the baby. For starters they were surprised to find out that the crib was for Joseph and not a luxurious cat bed. And now Joseph is mobile he thinks the cats are great fun. The cats are just trying to keep their distance, not always sucessfully. He hasn't worked out yet how to climb through the kitty door, falling accidentaly dosen't count. So the cats are still safe, when they are outdoors.
