8 Monate 8 months

Wow, wer hätte das gedacht, wie die Zeit vergeht. Joseph ist heute acht Monate alt und hat genau 10 Pfund zugenommen seit seiner Geburt. Und er hat schon einiges erlebt in der Zeit: einen Besuch in Clarksville (über Weihnachten), eine kurze Fahrt nach Texas (Fort Hood, Joes Neffe ist dort stationiert und kam letzte Woche aus Afganistan zurück), das waren sechs Stunden im Auto, aber Joseph war ein guter Passagier, trotz seiner Mittelohrentzündung. Und das macht mir ein wenig Sorgen, das war schon seine zweite Entzündung innerhalb von drei Monaten. Hoffentlich kommt die nächste nicht so bald.
Joseph ist schon sehr mobil, er krabbelt und zieht sich an den Möbeln hoch und er fing schon an mit verschiedenen Lauten (die Mamamamamam kam vor dem Dadadadad, yeah). Er ißt jetzt auch schon viele verschiedene Früchte, Gemüße und Hünchen mit Reis. Am liebsten Blaubeeren, Bananen und Zucchini. Zähne sind noch keine da, was schon ok ist, da ich noch Stille das kann noch eine Weile warten. Und sonst ist er ein kleiner, freundlicher und neugieriger Mensch, ich bin froh daß es ihm so gut geht.

So Joseph ist eight months today, time flies when you are busy. And looking back he had a busy eight months, other than growing and gaining exactly 10 pounds from birth to last week: a trip to Clarksville over Christmas and a short one last weekend to Fort Hood (Joe's nephew is stationed there and retuned from Afganistan last week) about six hours in the car with an earinfection, Joseph was surprisingly good. I am kind of worried since this is second infection in three months, hopefully he won't have another one so soon.
In other news, Joseph crawls and pulls himself up on the furniture, he makes some sounds (mamamamam before dadadadada yeah). And he likes his fruits, vegeatables and chicken and rice, his very favorite are blueberries, bananas and zucchini. No teeth yet, but I am not complaining since he is still nursing. Overall he is a happy and curious baby, and I am so happy that he is doing well.

So hatter er das meiste Wochenende in Fort Hood verbracht, schlafend in Hotelzimmer um die Mittelohrentzündung auszukurieren, mein armer Kleiner
